صراحة ، لا أدري من أين أبدأ!؟ تجربة فاقت التوقعات على كل المستويات، فمن كان يعتقد أنه على بعد ٣٠ دقيقة بالقارب تتواجد جزيرة مميزة في قطر ، بمستوى عالمي يغنيك عن عناء السفر لجزر أخرى تبعد ٥-٧ ساعات لتحصل على تجربة مماثلة!؟ اننا نتحدث عن منتجع جزيرة البنانا ، الذي كنا محظوظين بتجربة الاقامة فيه عطلة نهاية الأسبوع التي مضت!!
قبل أن نزورها شعرنا انا الاسعار مبالغ فيها بالنسبة لفندق محلي ، ولكن بعد تجربتنا تأكدنا أنها بالعكس ستمنحكم تجربة عالمية دون الحاجة لتكلف أية تذاكر سفر! (الأسعار تبدأ من ١٢٠٠ ريال)
قبل البدء بسرد تجربتنا أود ان أوجه شكرا خاصا للأخ برافين ، مشرف علاقات النزلاء ، على كل الاهتمام والمتابعة التي أولاها لنا ليتأكد من جعل رحلتنا تجربة لا تنسى ، ادارة المنتجع محظوظة بهكذا موظف مميز!
نقطة الانطلاق لرحلتنا كانت من ميناء البندر مقابل سوق واقف ، حيث تتوفر خدمة صف السيارات ، وفي حالة الاقامة يتم صف السيارة في موقف مغطى! عملية الاستقبال والتحضير لركوب القارب كانت سلسة والخدمة ممتازة ، والقوارب فخمة وكأنك في طائرة وليس قارب!
الوصول: استقبلتنا الأخت نزهة التي كانت قمة في الترحيب وعلى اتم الاستعداد لتقديم اية مساعدة ، أخذتنا بجولة تعريفية بالجزيرة ثم أوصلتنا لمطعم أزرق الذي كنا قد حجزنا فيه لتناول بوفيه برانش الجمعة (الاسعار تبدأ من ٢٥٠ ريال) ، لحين أن يجهز الجناح الذي قمنا بحجزه ، وكان البوفيه مميزا ومتنوعا: الشرقي ، الهندي ، الايطالي ، المكسيكي ، الأمريكي ، الآسيوي ، وغيره.. كل ما جربناه كان لذيذا!
بعد ذلك قمنا بوضع اطفالنا في نادي الاطفال الترفيهي الخاص بالجزيرة تحت اشراف متخصصين ، لنذهب انا وزوجتي الى السبا للحصول على مساج الاسترخاء! تجربة فريدة وننصح بها بشدة (اسعار تبدأ من ٤٥٠ ريال)
دخلنا الى الجناح الذي كان مميزا بتراس ذو اطلالة خلابة ، وحمام واسع وفخم جدا وغرفة جلوس ، وقد اتفقت معهم مسبقا بمناسبة قرب عيد ميلاد زوجتي على تحضير تنسيق خاص بالمناشف والزهور على سريرنا ، اضافة الى كيكة مكتوب عليها رسالة تهنئة ، وقد أكرمونا أيضا بالشوكولا الفاخرة والحلويات العربية كهدية منهم!
اختيارات السباحة منوعة فهناك البحر ذو الرمال البيضاء ، او المسبح المحاكي لشكل البحر ، او مسبح الكيو لونج الفاخر مع الجاكوزي ، عدا عن مسبحين مميزين للاطفال مع العاب السلايدر المائية!
هناك أيضا مركز ترفيهي يحتوي على سينما مجانية وبولينغ مقابل ٥٠ ريال للشخص ، اوجه تحية لياسين على حسن الاستقبال ، حيث استمتعنا بلعبة بولينغ سريعة هناك مساءا
تتوفر خيارات عديدة للمطاعم عدا عن ازرق ، فهناك مطعم ايطالي ، وامريكي ، وشرقي ، وهناك الكيو لونج الذي استمتعنا في نهاية اليوم بكأس من العصير المنعش مع نفس شيشة فاخر (١١٠ ريال للشيشة) التي كانت من أروع ما يكون على منصة عائمة في منتصف البحر!
في اليوم التالي استمتعنا بافطار راقي ومنوع في مطعم أزرق مجددا ، والخدمة كانت على أعلى مستوى نشكر اشتياق وفريق عمله
بعد ذلك توجهت الى مركز الغوص حيث حصلت على أول تجربة غوص على يد المدربة كريستال التي تمكنت من جعلي العب كرة السلة تحت الماء خلال أقل من ساعة من بدء الدرس 😊
تجربة المغادرة كانت بنفس السلاسة والتعامل الراقي وحين وصلنا الميناء وجدنا سيارتنا جاهزة في انتظارنا!
باختصار تجربة ٧ نجوم وسأعيدها وانصح بها بشدة!
expectations at all levels, who thought that 30 minutes away by boat there is such a charming island in Qatar with a world-class resort!? why fly 5-7 hours to other islands for a similar experience!? We are talking about the Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara, which we were lucky to stay over for 1 night the past weekend.
Before we visited, we thought the prices were overpriced for a local hotel, but after our stay we are sure that its actually very affordable if you consider how much you’ll pay for air tickets to visit a similar island in another destination (rates at Banana start at 1200 QAR)
Before starting our experience, I would like to thank Pravin, the guest relations supervisor, for all the attention and follow-up he have given us to make sure our trip will be an unforgettable experience. The management of the resort is fortunate to have such a committed & dedicated employee!
The starting point for our trip was from the port of Bandar opposite of Souq Waqif, where there is a valet service, and in the case of stay for next day the car is placed in a covered parking! The reception and preparation process for the boat ride was smooth and the service was excellent, the boats are luxurious as if you were on a plane and not a boat!
Arrival: Nezha, who welcomed us and was very ready to help us, took us on a guided tour to explore the island and then brought us to Azraq restaurant where we had booked the Friday brunch buffet (prices start from 250 riyals) until the suite we booked is ready! The buffet was distinctive and varied: Oriental, Indian, Italian, Mexican, American, Asian, and more .. Everything we tried was delicious!
After that we took our kids to the island’s children’s entertainment club under professional supervision, so my wife and I could go to the spa to enjoy a relaxing couples massage! Unique experience and highly recommended (prices start from 450 QAR)
We entered the suite, which was distinguished by a terrace with a magnificent view, a very spacious and luxurious bathroom and a living room. I had already agreed with them on the occasion of my wife’s birthday to prepare a special arrangement of towels and flowers on our bed, as well as a cake with a special message. They also placed complimentary boxes of Chocolate & Arabic sweets!
There are many swimming options: the sea with its white sand beach, the pool that simulates sea or the luxurious Q-Lounge swimming pool with Jacuzzi, in addition to two children’s special swimming pools with water slides!
There is also an entertainment center with free cinema and bowling for 50 riyals per person per game. We salute Yasin for his warm welcoming, where we enjoyed a quick bowling game in the evening..
There are many options for restaurants besides Azraq. There is an Italian, American and Oriental restaurants. Also there is the Q-lounge, where we enjoyed evening breeze on a floating deck in the middle of the sea with a glass of refreshing juice with the luxurious shisha (110 riyals for shisha)..
The next day we enjoyed a rich and varied breakfast at Azraq restaurant again, and the service was of the highest standard and we would like to thank Ishtiyaq and his team..
Then I went to the Resort’s Diving Centre where I got my first diving experience with Crystal: the amazing trainer who managed to make me play basketball underwater within less than an hour from the lesson starting time!
The departure experience was the same smooth and when we arrived back to the Bandar port we found our car ready & waiting for us!
To conclude: a 7 star experience & we will return again! highly recommended!
