‎تجربتنا في منتجع هيلتون شاطئ سلوى نهاية عطلة الاسبوع كانت مميزة جدا ، انطلقنا ظهر يوم الجمعة من الدوحة حيث استغرقتنا الطريق ساعة فقط للوصول الى المنتجع. المنتجع يتميز بألوانه البيضاء والزرقاء التي تذكرك بشواطئ مميزة حول العالم مثل ميكونوس اليونانية وسيدي بو سعيد التونسية.. الاستقبال كانو جدا بشوشين.. حصلنا على غرفة بسريرين حجم كوين مطلة على البحر والمسبح، الحمام كان نظيفا وفخما ، وتصميم الغرف بالزخارف والارابيسك العربي يعطي شعور دافيء ، أول يوم ذهبنا للاستمتاع ببعض فعاليات مدينة شلالات الصحراء الترفيهية مثل سيارات الكارتينغ والتسلق للقفز في الماء (كانيونينغ) وتحدي الليزر التي يمكنكم الحصول عليها جميعا مقابل ١٧٥ ريال للشخص ، طبعا يشترط اقل طول ١٢٠ سم لليزر والقفز و١٥٠ سم للسيارات، استمتعنا جدا وننصحكم بها بشدة ، بعد ذلك قمنا بالعودة لغرفتنا لتحضير نفسنا للافطار الرمضاني الدي كان بمطعم لافنتين الذي يتميز بأجواءه الرائعة وباكل بلاد الشام اللذيذ ، ومع الشيشة والعزف الحي بعد الافطار لم يكن يومنا لينتهي بشكل افضل في اليوم التالي قمنا بالذهاب الساعة ١٠ ص الى الشاطئ للاستمتاع بالتجديف بالقارب (مجانا حتى الساعة ١١ ثم تصبح مقابل ٥٠ ريال) ، ثم ذهبنا مع الاولاد للاستمتاع بالمسبح الكبير جدا ، وبعد ذلك قمنا باخذ اولادنا الى نادي الاطفال الذي يمنحكم راحة البال أثناء رغبتكم بالاستمتاع بعض الوقت كزوجين ، ولذلك قمنا بحجز جلسة مساج استرخائي في سبا ايفوريا التي اعادتنا بعدها متجددين كاننا ولدنا من جديد! تجربة رائعة بكل المقاييس وننصحكم بها!

‎‏Our experience at the Hilton Salwa Beach Resort & Villas over the weekend was very special. We drove off on Friday afternoon from Doha, where it took us only an hour to reach the resort. The resort is characterized by its white and blue colors that remind you of distinctive beaches around the world such as Mykonos in Greece, and Sidi Bou Said in Tunisia.. The reception team were very cheerful..

‎‏We got a room with two queen beds overlooking the sea and the pool, the bathroom was clean and luxurious, and the design of the room with Arab ornaments and arabesques gives a warm feeling.

‎‏On the first day we went to enjoy some of the activities at Desert Falls Water & Adventure Park, such as karting cars, Canyoning and the laser tag, which you can get all for only 175 riyals per person, of course, a minimum length of 120cm is required for laser and jumping & 150cm for karting, we enjoyed it very much and highly recommend it.

‎‏After that, we went back to our room to prepare ourselves for the Ramadan Iftar, which was in levantine, which has a wonderful atmosphere and delicious Levant food, and of course with shisha and live music after Iftar, our day could not end better

‎‏The next day 10am we went to the beach to enjoy kayaking (Free until 11 o’clock and then it becomes 50 riyals), then we went with to enjoy the very large swimming pool, and after that we took our children to the kids club that offers you peace of mind while you enjoy some time as a couple, that’s why we booked a relaxing massage session at eforia Spa, which brought us back as if we were born again! A wonderful experience in all aspects and we highly recommend it!

بما أن الطقس بدأ يتحسن في قطر ، أردنا الاستمتاع بإقامة محلية دون مغادرة البلاد. أراد أطفالنا بحرًا مع شاطئ نظيف للسباحة واللعب بالرمال ، بينما كنت أنا وزوجتي نرغب في الحصول على بركة سباحة كبيرة للاستمتاع ، وفي في نفس الوقت توفر أماكن رائعة للأطعمة والمشروبات وأيضًا الاستمتاع بالشيشة مع الإطلالة المذهلة على البحر.
كل ما سبق أدى إلى اختيار مكان واحد: منتجع سيلين مروب ، على بعد 45 دقيقة بالسيارة من منزلنا في الدوحة المزدحمة ، تقع في واحدة من أفضل الوجهات في قطر حيث تلتقي الأمواج بالكثبان الرملية. أردت أيضًا أن نحتفل بعيد ميلاد زوجتي الذي كان في نفس اليوم الذي أردنا فيه تسجيل الوصول ، وعندما اتصلت بالفندق لطلب المساعدة في ترتيب شيء لها ، كان الموظفون قمة في التعاون والمساعدة . وصلنا بعد ظهر يوم الجمعة ، حيث اخترنا فيلا المحيط ذات 3 غرف نوم حيث يمكن للأطفال الاستمتاع بتراس خاص فيه باربيكيو وشاطئ شبه خاص. يمكنك إيقاف سيارتك أمام منطقة الاستقبال لتسجيل الوصول ، ثم تقودها إلى مرآب السيارات الخاص بك داخل الفيلا ، لذلك لا يوجد عبء نقل الأشياء هنا وهناك. الفيلا نظيفة وذات تصميم مودرن ، وتحتوي على مطبخ ومنطقة لتناول الطعام مع غرفة معيشة مريحة لطيفة. لقد قاموا بإعداد ترتيب لطيف للغاية لعيد ميلاد زوجتي والذي يمكنك رؤيته في الصورة ، بالإضافة إلى كعكة عيد ميلاد مميزة ولذيذة للغاية ، كما لم ينسوا الصغار وتركوا بعض الهدايا اللطيفة لهم. عندما يتعلق الأمر بـالطعام والشراب ، جربنا الخيارات الثلاثة المتاحة في المنتجع وكلها كانت رائعة ، ننصح بهذه التجربة وبشدة ، تتوفر خيارات اقامة وحتى الاستخدام اليومي دون اقامة ولكن الأسعار تختلف حسب الموسم .

Since the weather started getting better in Qatar, we wanted to enjoy a local staycation without leaving the country. The kids wanted a sea with a clean beach to swim and play with sand, myself and wife wanted a big nice pool to enjoy a splash at the same time nice places for F&B and also to enjoy a Shisha with the amazing view of the sea. All above led to choosing one place: @sealinebeachqat , only 45 min drive from our home in the busy Doha, located in one of the top destinations in Qatar (Inland Sea) where the waves meet the dunes.
I also wanted to celebrate my wife’s birthday which was same day we wanted to check in, and when I called the hotel to ask for their help arranging something for her, the staff were very friendly and supportive! We checked in Friday afternoon, we’ve picked the 3 bedroom ocean villa where the kids can enjoy a private terrace with BBQ and semi private beach. You park your car in front of reception area to check in, then you drive it to your own parking inside the villa, so no hustle of moving things here & there. The villa is very clean and modern, it has a kitchen and a dinning area with a nice cozy living room. they made a very nice setup for my wife’s birthday which you can see in the picture, in addition to a very nice birthday cake (which tasted very delicious too). They didn’t forget about the little ones and they left some nice treat for them too.

When it comes to F&B, we tried the three options available at the resort, all of which were great.
We recommend this experience and strongly, different stay options are available and even daily use without accommodation but prices vary depending on the season

‎تجربة إقامتنا مع فندق الوادي:

‎موقع مذهل على بعد مسافة مشي من سوق واقف بإجوائه التقليدية الخلابة ، فريق عمل ودود للغاية ابتداءا , وأعتقد أنهم يمثلون القيمة الحقيقية لهذا الفندق حيث أنهم جميعًا يبذلون قصارى جهدهم لجعلك سعيدًا ، أما بخصوص الغرفة ، فقد نزلنا في جناح السوق ، وهو جناح مريح وفخم للغاية مع تراس يطل على سوق واقف ، ووسائل الراحة الفاخرة ، وسرير مريح للغاية ، ولم ينسو ترك الضيافة على طاولتنا! منطقة المسبح كانت المفضلة لدي، صغيرة و غير مزدحمة ، الفوط المثلجة والماء البارد ، وبار مسبح أوغلاسيه خيار ممتاز للحصول على الوجبات الخفيفة والمرطبات ، تناولنا طعام الغداء في سفرة الذي كان طعامًا رائعًا من طريقة التقديم إلى الطعم. وفي اليوم التالي ، استمتعنا بوجبة الإفطار في مطعم لو كولونيال ، وهو المطعم الوحيد الذي يقدم وجبات إفطار غير محدودة من قائمة (منيو) للمقيمين من الصباح الباكر وحتى الساعة 3:00 مساءً!! لا داعي للقلق بشأن الاستيقاظ المبكر!  ولا تنسى ان تدلل نفسك بجلسة تدليك في أم سبا ،  سيتأكدون من تخليصك من التوتر بمجرد انتهائك! تجربة ممتعة نود أن نكررها!

Our staycation experience with Alwadi.hotel:

Amazing location walking distance to the authentic atmosphere of Souq Waqif, very friendly staff starting from valet people, concierge, front desk, waiters, cleaners, chefs and managers, I think they are the real asset of this hotel as they all do best possible to make you happy, now for the room, we had the  souq suite, a very cosy and luxurious suite with a stunning terrace overlooking souq waqif, luxurious amenities like nesspresso machine and high-end hair dryer, very comfortable beds, and we had a nice welcome treat too! Pool area was my favorite, small not crowded, amazing staff, cold towels & cold water, and the amazing O’GLACÉE pool bar to get snacks and refreshments , we had our lunch at SOFRA which was amazing food from presentation to taste. And next day we enjoyed the breakfast at LE COLONIAL which is the only restaurant to serve unlimited A La Carte breakfast for residents from early morning until 3:00pm! No need to worry about waking up early! It is also worth it to treat yourself with a massage session at the M Spa, they’ll make sure you’ll be stress-free once done. pleasant experience that we’d love to repeat! !

تجربتنا للإقامة في الاجازة المحلية لدينا في فندق وارويك الدوحة: لقد قمنا بتسجيل الوصول في ليلة الخميس في جناح جونيور فاخر (740 ريال فقط في الليلة) وهو ذو تصميم كلاسيكي مميز وأنيق حقًا! زوجتي حصلت على مفاجأة خاصة بمناسبة عيد ميلادها ، كيكة عيد ميلاد خاصة مع اسمها عليها وترتيب ديكور خاص على السرير! شكر كبير للانسة (نيفين عبدالشهيد) التي رتبت هذه الهدية والتي كانت تتابع معنا خطوة بخطوة للتأكد من أننا سنحظى بإقامة لا تنسى! ‎

في وقت لاحق ، ذهبنا إلى لو’بيغج للاستمتاع بليلة المأكولات البحرية ، والتي تشمل: مقبلات المأكولات البحرية الباردة ، وركن السوشي الصغير ، وزاوية الكالاماري المقلي ، والأرز البحري ، وصالونة/طاجين المأكولات البحرية المختلفة والأهم من ركن سوق الأسماك البحرية ، حيث يمكنك قم باختيار ما تريد ليقوموا بشويه لك (180 ريال علما أنهم يقبلون قسائم ماي بوك وانترتينر وإذا لم يكن لديك هذه القسائم ستحصل على خصم 25٪ كجزء من باقة الحجز الخاصة بك) ‎

في اليوم التالي ، بما أن باقة الحجز الخاصة هذه توفر لك خيار تناول الفطور في لو’بيغج أو في غرفتك ، قررنا أن نكون كسولين وأن ندلل أنفسنا ونقوم بطلب وجبة الإفطار في الغرفة ، وقد طلبنا الافطار الشرقي / العربي اضافة الى افطار كونتيننتال ‎بعد ذلك ذهبنا للاستمتاع ببركة السباحة على السطح ، كان الطقس رائعا ، لديهم أيضا اثنين من برك الجاكوزي! لقد استمتع الأطفال حقا ، ويمكنك أيضا التمتع ببعض الوجبات الخفيفة والمرطبات من خلال مقهى مون-ديك على السطح نفسه. ‎

لاكمال تجربة الاسترخاء ، قررنا أنا وزوجتي أن نذهب بعملة جلسة مساج (لديهم سياسة ذكر لذكر انثى لانثى ) عزة وعباد من فريق السبا قاموا بعمل رائع (يمكنك أيضا الحصول على خصم 25 ٪ كجزء من حزمة الحجز الخاصة بك) ‎

بالتأكيد بعد كل هذا ستكون جائعا ، لذلك أفضل شيء هو الاستمتاع بوجبة برانش الجمعة العربي التي تتوفر لحسن الحظ حتى الساعة 5 مساءً ، حيث يمكن لأطفالك الاستمتاع بغرفة ترفيه مجانية مع بوفيه صغير خاص لهم أثناء استمتاعكم بتناول الطعام ، المنسف الاردني هو خياري المفضل! (180 ريال علما أنهم يقبلون قسائم ماي بوك وانترتينر وإذا لم يكن لديك هذه القسائم ستحصل على خصم 25٪ كجزء من باقة الحجز الخاصة بك) ‎

وأخيراً عدنا إلى جناحنا ، لعمل شاور ساخن ، تجهيز أنفسنا وعمل تشيك-اوت للمغادرة ، حيث كانت العملية سلسة وسريعة جداً ، الخدمة بشكل عام كانت جيدة و الموظفين كانو ودودين

Our Staycation experience at Warwick Doha Hotel: we have checked-in Thursday night in a luxurious Junior Suite (Only QAR 740 per night) which was really amazing and elegant classic design! My wife got a special surprise on the occasion of  her birthday, special bday cake with her name on it & special bed decor! Big Thanks to (Ms. Nevine Abdel Shahied) who arranged this gift & who was following up with us step by step to make sure we have a memorable stay!

Later, we went to L’auberge to enjoy their seafood night, which includes: seafood appetizers, small sushi corner, fried calamari corner, seafood rice, different seafood salona & tajin and most important the seafood fish market style station, where you select what you want and they grill it for you (QAR 180 pp Mybook qatar & Entertainer vouchers accepted & if you don’t have it you get 25% off as part of your booking package)

Next day, since this special booking package gives you the option to have the breakfast at L’auberge or in your room, we decided to be lazy & pamper ourselves by ordering in-room breakfast, we ordered 1 oriental/Arabic &  one continental. 

We went then to enjoy the rooftop pool, weather was amazing, they also have two jacuzzi tubs not one! Kids really enjoyed, and you can also enjoy some snacks & refreshments by Moon Deck on same roof. 

To complete the joy, we decided me & my wife to go for massage (they have same gender to same gender policy) Azza & Abbad from the spa team did an amazing job (you also get 25% off as part of your booking package)

For sure after all of this you’ll be hungry, so best thing to do is enjoying the Friday Arabic brunch which luckily open until 5:00 pm, your kids can enjoy free entertainment room with special mini buffet for them while you enjoy your food, The Jordanian Mansaf is my favorite choice! (QAR 180 pp Mybook & Entertainer vouchers accepted & if you don’t have it you get 25% off as part of your booking package)

Finally we went back to our suite, enjoyed a hot shower, prepared ourselves & checked-out, which was a very smooth & fast process, service over all was good & staff were friendly!

صراحة ، لا أدري من أين أبدأ!؟ تجربة فاقت التوقعات على كل المستويات، فمن كان يعتقد أنه على بعد ٣٠ دقيقة بالقارب تتواجد جزيرة مميزة في قطر ، بمستوى عالمي يغنيك عن عناء السفر لجزر أخرى تبعد ٥-٧ ساعات لتحصل على تجربة مماثلة!؟ اننا نتحدث عن منتجع جزيرة البنانا ، الذي كنا محظوظين بتجربة الاقامة فيه عطلة نهاية الأسبوع التي مضت!!

expectations at all levels, who thought that 30 minutes away by boat there is such a charming island in Qatar with a world-class resort!? why fly 5-7 hours to other islands for a similar experience!? We are talking about the Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara, which we were lucky to stay over for 1 night the past weekend.

Before we visited, we thought the prices were overpriced for a local hotel, but after our stay we are sure that its actually very affordable if you consider how much you’ll pay for air tickets to visit a similar island in another destination (rates at Banana start at 1200 QAR)

Before starting our experience, I would like to thank Pravin, the guest relations supervisor, for all the attention and follow-up he have given us to make sure our trip will be an unforgettable experience. The management of the resort is fortunate to have such a committed & dedicated employee!

The starting point for our trip was from the port of Bandar opposite of Souq Waqif, where there is a valet service, and in the case of stay for next day the car is placed in a covered parking! The reception and preparation process for the boat ride was smooth and the service was excellent, the boats are luxurious as if you were on a plane and not a boat!

Arrival: Nezha, who welcomed us and was very ready to help us, took us on a guided tour to explore the island and then brought us to Azraq restaurant where we had booked the Friday brunch buffet (prices start from 250 riyals) until the suite we booked is ready! The buffet was distinctive and varied: Oriental, Indian, Italian, Mexican, American, Asian, and more .. Everything we tried was delicious!

After that we took our kids to the island’s children’s entertainment club under professional supervision, so my wife and I could go to the spa to enjoy a relaxing couples massage! Unique experience and highly recommended (prices start from 450 QAR)

We entered the suite, which was distinguished by a terrace with a magnificent view, a very spacious and luxurious bathroom and a living room. I had already agreed with them on the occasion of my wife’s birthday to prepare a special arrangement of towels and flowers on our bed, as well as a cake with a special message. They also placed complimentary boxes of Chocolate & Arabic sweets!

There are many swimming options: the sea with its white sand beach, the pool that simulates sea or the luxurious Q-Lounge swimming pool with Jacuzzi, in addition to two children’s special swimming pools with water slides!

There is also an entertainment center with free cinema and bowling for 50 riyals per person per game. We salute Yasin for his warm welcoming, where we enjoyed a quick bowling game in the evening..

There are many options for restaurants besides Azraq. There is an Italian, American and Oriental restaurants. Also there is the Q-lounge, where we enjoyed evening breeze on a floating deck in the middle of the sea with a glass of refreshing juice with the luxurious shisha (110 riyals for shisha)..

The next day we enjoyed a rich and varied breakfast at Azraq restaurant again, and the service was of the highest standard and we would like to thank Ishtiyaq and his team..

Then I went to the Resort’s Diving Centre where I got my first diving experience with Crystal: the amazing trainer who managed to make me play basketball underwater within less than an hour from the lesson starting time!

The departure experience was the same smooth and when we arrived back to the Bandar port we found our car ready & waiting for us!

To conclude: a 7 star experience & we will return again! highly recommended!

يبدأ الانطباع المذهل من منطقة البهو حيث تبدأ الشعور أنك دخلت للتو عالم أليس في بلاد العجائب ! الموظفون على دراية وودية للغاية (أريد أن أشكر الأخ راشد خاصة الذي قدم لي جولة مميزة ومعلومات مفيدة جداً ) مكثنا في أحد الأجنحة الأربعة المذهلة  في الطابق 22 ، الذي كان فقط أنيقا وحديثا بطريقة ملكية ، كل شيء فيه تقنية عالية وأتمتة: من الستائر ، إلى الإضاءة ، إلى التكييف ، الى الخدمة ، إلى التلفزيون وحتى مصدر الموسيقى التي تمكنك توصيل هاتفك باستخدام البلوتوث وجعلها تبث موسيقاك من خلال الجناح بأكمله! المنظر كان جميلاً يمكنك أن ترى جزيرة اللؤلؤة  والشاطئ وأفق أبراج الدوحة. وسائل الراحة موجودة من كل ما تحتاجه والكثير من المياه المجانية ، وآلة نسبرسو مع كبسولات واختيارات لطيفة من أكياس الشاي. أفضل جزء كان المسبح الداخلي في الطابق 26! عندما تكون الحرارة 50 درجة في الخارج بينما كنت استمتع  مع أطفالي بالمسبح دون القلق بشأن الشمس القوية! إذا كنت في الدوحة ، هذا الفندق يجب أن تجربته! أما عن تناول الطعام ، فحيث أنه شهر رمضان المبارك ، ذهبنا لتناول الإفطار ، حيث لديهم خيمة رمضان تدعى ألف ليلة وليلة ، ويقدمون بوفيه مع مجموعة كبيرة من الخيارات ، وأفضل جزء هو الاستماع لعازف العود بينما تستمتع بالطعام خصوصا تاكوس الروبيان والأوزي ب لحم الضأن

The amazing impression starts from the lobby area where you start feeling you just entered the Wonderland of Alice! The staff were very informed & friendly (I want to thank Rashed especially who gave me a very nice & informative tour) we stayed in one of the 4 amazing suites in floor 22, which was just elegant and modern in a very royal way, everything is high tech and automated from curtains, to lighting, to AC, to service, to TV and even source of music which you could connect your phone using bluetooth and have it broadcasting your music through the whole suite! The view was beautiful you could see the pearl, the grand hyatt, the beach & the towers skyline. Amenities where complete everything you need and a lot of complimentary water, nesspresso machine with capsules and nice selection of tea bags. The best part was the indoor pool in floor 26! It was almost 50 degrees outside while I could enjoy the temperature control pool with my kids without worrying about the strong sun! If you are in Doha, this hotel is a must try! For food since it is Ramadan, we went for Iftar, they have a ramadan tent called 1001 nights, serving buffet with big selection of food, and the best part was the live oud performance while you enjoy the tasty food (don’t miss the lamb ouzi and the shrimp tacos). @Where2goQatar
